Jen started her web career in 1997, when she was a product manager at a small company in Brattleboro, VT. She was upset that the webmaster/IT manager/PC Helpdesk person had not yet updated the website with her products. "Figure it out," he told her, showing her how to view source in the web browser. It was all downhill from there as Jen was totally hooked.

Jen started her own company in 2000, Focused Consulting LLC, devoted to website design and development, and then went off to graduate school to figure out what she was doing. Jen graduated with her Master's of Science in Internet Strategy Management in 2001, and she has had no free time ever since.

Jen has been building Joomla! sites with Bill since 2005. She still thinks Joomla! is the coolest technology since sliced bread.

In her non-existent free time, Jen runs the New England Adobe User Group and founded the Joomla! User Group New England in March 2008. She is also the Program Director for the Master's of Science in Information Technologies (MSIT) at the Marlboro College Graduate Center, and teaches a course on Joomla and social networking.
